The Forest Park Student Council is a group of high school students who participate in helping the Forest Park school and community, and who helps promote school spirit. This is accomplished by pep rallies in honor of our athletes, participating in the TV 6 Canathon, and organizing  activities such as Homecoming Spirit Week, and the Lip Sync.

A Description of some of the Activities Student Council organizes:

Homecoming Student Council decides the theme for Homecoming, and the various theme days of Sprit Week. They also create the judging system for Homecoming, and organize the Penny Competition (which raises funds for the classes). It culminates in the Homecoming Dance after the Homecoming Football Game.
Pep Rallies The Student Council supports the athletic teams as they go through competitions. They introduce the team, and play fun activities with the crowd.
Concession Stands This is a fundraiser for Student Council. They sell a variety of goods including hot dogs, popcorn, soda, and candy at Forest Park basketball games.
Lip Sync The major spring function of the year, in which Forest Park students show off their multitude of talents. The Student Council organizes the entire event--from setting up to deciding prices on the acts to managing the event as it occurs to taking down.
